Kabumba's 30th Coronation anniversary celebrations.

The officials were received by Princess Kabatalesa Daphin Adyeeri, the Personal Assistant to the Queen (Omugo) Margaret Karunga Adyeeri.
The meeting was attended by Counsel Kiiza Denis the BKK Assistant Legal officer.

On Saturday, Hoima Regional Referral Hospital officials met Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom officials and presented to them the challenge posed by Pre-Eclampsia on mothers and its causes.

The Pre-Eclampsia awareness Match brought together a number of medical practitioners, hospitals, Nursing Schools and various individuals.

He used the same platform to invite all the people to attend the 30th coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty Dr Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, the Omukama of Bunyoro-Kitara. The ceremony is scheduled for 11th of June 2024 at Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom Parliament Gardens.

While flagging off the Match, Mr Katusabe Alex,the BKK Chief Administrative Secretary thanked Hoima Regional Referral Hospital & Ministry of Health- Uganda officials plus organizations for coming up with such a campaign that aims at protecting pregnant mothers from some of the complications

Pre-Eclampsia awareness Match that took place today in Hoima city was organized by Hoima Regional Referral Hospital. The match was intended to raise awarenesses and dangers and possible mitigations of Pre-Eclampsia in Bunyoro.

Preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder that can occur during pregnancy and the postpartum period and affects the mother and the fetus. Globally, preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are the main cause of maternal and neonatal illness and death.

Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom CAS flags off a Pre-Eclampsia awareness Match.

The Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom Chief Administrative Secretary, Mr Katusabe Alex flagged off the Pre-Eclampsia awareness Match this morning at the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom offices.

The BKK officials who attended the Dua included Mr Atuha Moses, the Clerk to Parliament, Owek Hajj Burhani Kyakuhaire, the BKK Cultural Advisor Owek. Robert Owagonza , the Bunyoro Kitara Diocesan Head of Laity and former BKK Minister of Finance and Planning and Kyomugisa Frankline Akiiki

At the same function, the Abayaga clan raised Shs 100,000/= for registration of there clan with BKK and the money was received by Owek Hajj Burhani Kyakuhaire, the BKK's cultural advisor.

The Dua was attended by hundreds of people

The function was held at the late Mugenyi's home in Butanjwa cell, Hoima East City Division. Mr. Aheebwa Muzamil was installed as the heir to late Mugenyi.

BKK Clerk to Parliament, Mr Atuha Moses who represented the BKK Prime Minister thanked the family and friends of the late for organizing such a religious and cultural ceremony in honour of the late.

He advised adults to always make wills in order to protect the family estates
