After spending the last 13 months in Germany, Katherine is about to become the first qualified astronaut under the Australian flag.
With just 2 days to go, a big shoutout to Katherine Bennell-Pegg from Australian Space Agency, training with our European Space Agency astronaut candidates for a year ๐ฉโ๐๐จโ๐ Next Monday, they'll all receive astronaut certification together. Ready for liftoff! ๐๐

Katherine Bennell-Pegg joined JAXA(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) ASCANs, European Space Agency ASCANs and astronauts on a parabolic flight with Air ZeroG โ๏ธ.
Parabolic flights are often used to train astronauts before spaceflight, enabling them to learn how to operate in weightlessness.
