I just bumped into the real no kidding Artemis I commander, Campos at the Johnson Space Center! I asked Campos why the crew was so successful on their mission and all I got in return was eerie silence. I think I understand now.

Last night, we received a response from #SLIM , confirming that the spacecraft made it through the lunar night for the second time! Since the sun was still high and the equipment was still hot, we only took some shots of the usual scenery with the navigation camera. #GoodAfterMoon

越夜後の運用では、いろいろな機器の情報を用いてSLIMの状況を推定しようとしているよ。たとえば、ヒーター電源をちょっとだけ入れてみた時の発電量の変化から太陽電池の状態や表面にどのくらい月の砂がついているかなどがわかるかもしれないよ。
