Another invasive seaweed collected for our Wales Marine Invasive Non-Native Species Kit! Paul ParkPembrey showed us where Worm Wart Weed, Agarophyton vermiculophyllum lives on mud at Llanelli. Contact us if you wish to use the Marine INNS kit for outreach.
We're using multiple methods to preserve the seaweeds we collected. Some specimens will be used for the Wales marine INNS kit, some for handling material in Amgueddfa Caerdydd galleries and some for the scientific collections as a permanent record. Contact us to borrow the kit
