Today at 4-H Afterschool Adventures at HL-O Elementary, we learned about the Olympics! We started out the day learning about the Olympic flag during snack. Yum! #UMNExtWorks

After learning about the Olympic Flag, we learned about the different Winter Olympic sports! Here is a group of our HL-O Afterschool Adventure youth doing one of their favorite yoga poses - the Warrior 3 - to pose like a figure skater. #UMNExtWorks

At each Afterschool Adventure session, we incorporate a #STEM activity. This month, we learned about ski jumpers and how they gain energy to jump long distances. We made ski jump straw rockets to test what would made our ski jumpers travel the farthest! #UMNExtWorks
