Cherry Lane Suffern Central The Cherry Lane 3rd Grade boys won the team competition!!

What an awesome way to celebrate a birthday! Have all of your classmates sign a pumpkin, carve it into a Jack O’lantern, and then bring it back to our classroom for our Halloween celebration! We love it!

Uh oh!!! We are ready to begin our mystery unit, but all of our mystery books are missing!!!

The Hockstars were on the case! We made a list of suspects and followed the clues. It turns out Mrs Aguilar had borrowed our books to find some good mysteries to read! Tomorrow we will choose mystery books and begin to read like detectives.

Flashlight reading mysteries on Halloween!

We did a silent share of our personal narrative writing today. Students rotated around the room, read each other’s stories, and wrote specific compliments to highlight what they really liked about their classmates’ stories!

Answering the social studies question “Where are we?” by making posters, slideshows, and picture books.

We had a terrific time learning about cultures around the world from Mr. Mike from JAMBO Productions.
