In a welcome distraction from the woes of a Uni in crisis and the complete lack of interest from the media (thanks election), today I examined pollen from the remains of a beehive washed up on Chatham Island. The pollen will provide the key to where the hive came from!

A hypothetical* scenario for you: Let's say someone** had a few really big #3Dpollen models - one or two metres across and weatherproof kind of thing. Would anyone be interested in borrowing them? What would you do with them? Let me know! It's for a plan. *only partly🤞 **🥸

I also got to see my #3Dpollen models in a whole new light - etched into glass blocks and in an interactive symphony! It was an honour to contribute to the exhibition in a small way, and I'm very grateful to Wolfgang Buttress and studio for getting The 3D Pollen Project involved.
