Returned to radio this past two weeks after a three year absence, QSOwith G3WQK/P today on 40m. Nice to work the other end of the British Isles.

Looking to get mobile/portable and wondering how best to power the radio? Direct from car battery or via supplementary battery? Watched a lot of YouTube vids but little info on how to power the rig. Any help appreciated. Tim H (G5TM) Colin Summers

A wee sked on 80m (3.740) with the Caithness Amateur Radio Society this afternoon. Challenging with a low antenna due to wind (was one section shorter than in these photos) but good to be on air again..... At least it worked 😀
