Today we have been lucky enough to have 7 of our cadets flying in the Grob Tutor aircraft. The cadets are taught how to control the aircraft in flight and do actually take control. Before they go flying they are taught the necessary emergency drills.

Last night we had a very good Annual General Meeting of the Civilian Committee. We had 7 parents volunteer to join the committee which means we now have a full committee of 12 people. Thank you so much to all committee members both old and new for volunteering.

This evening the staff have had a very useful planning meeting. We have covered subjects such as new equipment for the squadron, roles and responsibilities, recruitment, training programs and presentation evening. #WhatWeDo #RAFAC #AirCadets

Congratulations to FS I Hoskin who has been awarded "Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenants’ Certificate of Meritorious Service". FS Hoskin gives many hours of her time every week to the ATC above what is normally expected of a member of staff. This award is in recognition of that.
