We are extremely disappointed AoMRC has excluded The BMA from a meeting to discuss MAPs and doctors in training despite the inclusion of other key stakeholders including NHS England, GMC and ATDC. [1/3]

It's completely unacceptable that due to poor planning, some trusts will fail to meet their backpay obligations to resident doctors in England this month. We continue to hold trusts and NHS Employers accountable for this. If you do not receive your backpay in your November pay

Trusts had months to prepare for backpay, it's unacceptable to delay payments before Christmas. Thanks to your action & work by BMA staff & reps Nottingham University Hospitals and Leicester's Hospitals have agreed to add a payment run for 3/12 and 5/12. Time for Trusts in the region to follow suit.

Good to see that some Trusts are taking steps to rectify their failure to pay the backpay to all past and current employees. Let’s see if others will step up too
