What are some UNIQUE services you provide as an ED pharmacist? Looking for more ways to advocate additional hours. We already do micro f/u for 4 EDs.

We haven't been receiving emergency calls on our hospital phone for two weeks. I requested a pager because I knew it would at least work. Serious sense memory from residency, this pager.

Pretty over my health system. Wish the grass was greener. Asked for a powerplan to be viewable 2 years ago, denied, told to make my own. Didn't have time to make my own. Someone else asked for it to be viewable (actually one of the people who denied it the first time). Viewable.

Avoided Twitter (or whatever this is) for a while, just came back b/c I was rage reading the cUTI guidelines wondering why a 2025 document is still recommending FQs and acting like extended interval AGs cause renal damage. The only shiny point was duration stewardship. Wild.

The health system wasn't system-ing today and I had to advocate hard for hours for more than one patient and it took it out of me. Some days are hard. But your BFF sitting beside you, a charge that has your back, and an attending offering to throw bows makes it feel less hard.

There is a reason people who do ACLS everyday think RQIs are absurd. My favorite question is the one that makes me select "hypotensive shock" as a type of shock. Caption this riduculous image.

My sister after being bit by a tick "yeah, apparently one of the tick bacteria is named for a town near us...Chaffee...". So, today I learned that Ehrlichiosis chaffeensis was named for Fort Chaffee, AR where it was discovered. We have quite a bit of Ehrlichia in IN. #FunFacts
