The EU's DSA requires social media access requests to be "proportionate". But how much data do researchers need for robust results? A 1st look at this question measuring network polarization in sampled datasets: arxiv.org/pdf/2406.19867 Initial results from Complexity 72h 🧵

The program of our FRIENDS satellite satellite is now available online! We have a luxury line up of speakers and we will finish with a panel about Challenges and Opportunities for Signed Networks! Looking forward to see you in Exeter Conference on Complex Systems 💪🏼 signet-friends.github.io

It’s a wrap of the FRIENDS satellite at Conference on Complex Systems ! After a day of diverse and insightful talks, I believe that the conclusion of the panel is that Signed Networks are still a challenge in so many different dimensions. Exciting times ahead! Thank you all for coming!

I jumped in last minute on the satellite program and was very happy to share signed networks experience with the community!

Working with this group is always a pleasure, I hope our careers move forward together so we get a lot more opportunities to do so 🌺

🤖 What's the maximal scale of an LLM populated society? Can LLMs self organise and reach consensus? If you missed my #CCS2024 talk, check out our latest preprint with David Garcia for insights! Special thanks to Diogo Pires for the photo 📸 arxiv.org/abs/2409.02822

New preprint led by @MiguelAGonzC in collaboration with Anxo Sánchez! This contribution sheds light on the interplay between the micro and macro scales of human behaviour, with equilibrium being maintained despite high turnover on network composition. arxiv.org/abs/2410.11635
