I’m sorry you think the reason we pay so much more for healthcare than other countries Is because Americans don’t eat enough meat— when Americans eat per capita some of the most meat in the world? Calling “eating a carnivore diet” “preventative healthcare” is so deranged

Twitter has turned on by default now a setting that allows them to use our tweets to train grok. Turn it off by going to settings and searching grok, there’s only 2 results and they seem to both be the toggle anyway.

Happy first day of school! After two decades + of being a student, looking forward to being on this side of the classroom for the first time. I hope the teenagers don’t eat me alive!

We subscribed and canceled from MA, where there are no state laws on cancellations. While every newspaper allowed us to sign up online, only 45% allowed us to click to cancel. And 76% of these bogged down the process with sludge, such as required surveys and promo offers.

In today's blog, a new paper by Jason Kerwin, Nada Rostom & Olivier Sterck shows that joint orthogonality tests of balance between treatment and control can over-reject (so you conclude not balanced) and that RI can solve this blogs.worldbank.org/en/impactevalu…

Gino's case against us has been dismissed. Scientists cannot effectively sue other scientists for exposing fraud/errors in their work. Those who work to correct the scientific record can sleep better tonight. Those who don’t want it corrected, well, I don’t care how they sleep.

Just went to a practice job talk of a friend whose native language is not english and at one point he said "Now I will get into the tits and bits of the model..." I told him to never say that in a seminar for obvious reasons, but putting that aside, is this a real thing?
