tough conversations Kailen Sheridan San Diego Wave FC I'll say it clearly. Players (particularly Alex and Kailen) initially talked the talk, but didn't actually walk the walk when it came to backing Brittany Alvarado and 5 others suing club. They are going through this to make environment safer for all (and even alleged rapist got fired)

tough conversations Kailen Sheridan San Diego Wave FC Brittany Alvarado Pretty selfish if you ask me considering that Brittany still has to contend with Jill Ellis' shameful defamation suit. Do they think they aren't going to get deposed if this continues? Because a lot of 'em likely will. Everyone is in the same boat and needs to be rowing together

Maybe Jessica Berman can gaze into the "crystalized soccer ball" and actually reflect on how she can properly address the abuse and misconduct issues that keep persistently popping up across the NWSL. It's time, and is vital for a healthier league in the long run

I hope that Sydney Leroux gets all the support and care she needs to get back into a better headspace. I'll always remember her personal kindness and support to Brittany Alvarado when she bravely came forward regarding serious problems at SD Wave last summer equalizersoccer.com/2025/03/16/syd…

Here's how National Women’s Soccer League fans can constructively act to express their displeasure with how the Wave, NWSL and U.S. Soccer have failed to act appropriately in the years following the October 2022 Yates Report detailing abuse in women's soccer and how to potentially stop it going forward

tough conversations Yeeeeah the sirens got some explaining to do

This narrative never made sense, especially given everything that since came out about what has gone on San Diego Wave FC. There're 15 causes of action in the lawsuit. The Wave were willfully employing a sexual predator. There's no need to fake an email on top of all that.

San Diego Wave FC Brittany was put on unpaid leave 3/1/2024. Brittany resigned 6/7/2024. Brittany worked at a camp that took place 6/10-14/2024 that the Alex Morgan Foundation was a part of. The email was sent on 6/17/2024 - so 10 days after Brittany resigned and the Monday after the camp ended.

San Diego Wave FC It could be a coincidence but it seems too coincidental that this email was sent to Brittany so soon after she resigned and then worked at an Alex Morgan camp - especially given what was said in the email.

San Diego Wave FC So if Justyne is telling the truth, then the person who sent it still had to be someone connected to the Wave, and seemingly someone that had a grudge against Brittany and Justyne and for some reason the Wave's DJ (who also recieved an email). x.com/NWSLtoughconvo…

San Diego Wave FC Kailen Sheridan was also at the camp. If the narrative that the Wave and Jill have put out about Brittany was true, wouldn't one if not both of them had said something about Brittany working at the camp?

San Diego Wave FC Again, Brittany was put on unpaid leave 3/1/2024 so at the very least players would have known that she was absent from working with the team if not more specifics of what was going on.

San Diego Wave FC The FO isn't a silo. The toxicity there will spill over to the team. And in the Wave's case they were willfully employing a sexual predator who was around the players. If staff made formal complaints, did players do so too, only for the Wave & NWSL to sweep it under the rug?

San Diego Wave FC Nope. You won't "Wave 'em goodbye" until Lauren Levine deals properly with and atones for the past (along with Jessica Berman and the National Women’s Soccer League - who are also being sued in the same action). Do you think "Doe #1," subject of an alleged sexual assault, cares about on field wins?
