I understand why people are leaving Twitter, but I don’t understand why they’re leaving five minutes before the religious right starts pushing Elon around.

Every month for nearly 10 years, I’ve run a very popular book club in Phoenix. For nearly 120 months running, about 60-80 women of all ages and backgrounds show up to talk, share, make friends, build community. In a good month, we’ll get maybe 5 men. Your loneliness is a choice.

It is remarkable the way Trump voters seem to feel entitled to my time and attention. They have so many questions now. Go ask your MAGA friends. They’ve got answers. They don’t have complete sentences, but they’ve got answers. I’m busy. Good luck.
