Just getting around to commenting on this. Note for indy Wales: we, our parents, and our grandparents grew up in a period in which the West dominated the world. That period is now ending. The West, and Wales, will become much poorer than we've been for 200+ years. So now what?

What we're seeing is a return of power to producer countries because consumer countries - the west - no longer have the manufacturing industry or resources to maintain the military dominance which has enforced their hegemony for 200 years.
