Doris Griffiths I don’t think that’s entirely fair. Most editors, producers and journalists at the BBC are dedicated to delivering impartial content. And I know senior managers are looking at how to respond to the criticisms and allegations of bias.

Me neither. Or any claims there has been a coup. A board’s job is to protect the company they are there to provide governance to. We can question whether Davies and Deborah’s resignations will in the end lead to better outcomes but this is very normal behaviour at very senior

Yes but by the Chairman’s letter we have been advised they did act on these. However, what is concerning is the lack of transparency on these issues and the actions taken against them. This would restore trust but now BBC is racing to protect itself … The BBC is in a very hard

Couldn’t be further from the truth. I am genuinely no BBC basher and any look at any of my reporting / commenting over the years will prove this but upholding standards is crucial as is transparency about that to retain trust in the BBC.

All three on the Kenny Duggan emily m Lewis Goodall only focusing on that clip: Grossman had not only criticised that clip. He had criticised the documentary as a whole but the clip was the incendiary element he discovered AFTER Prescott asked him to look at it. (Also not only

Worth noting that Lisa Hunter Director of Communications for the BBC replacing John Shield started one week ago. Shitty timing. And may help explain the constipated Comms reaction by BBC allowing everyone to pile in. Hard to read the riot act to those in power on Day One. But

The attacks on Robbie Gibb from so many on the left is very telling. I don’t know him and I was no fan of Johnson’s period of chaotic rule, but exactly where has Gibb, or Grossman and Prescott gone wrong? It appears that all of them have done their job. In Gibb’s case striving

These rumours can be dealt with if the board minutes are released. Hopefully the BBC will rapidly release those board minutes for full transparency and ahead of the curve. The BBC board can be FOI-ed when it comes to governance and this is governance. And I hope BBC on top of it.

So let’s see proof that he has tried to lead a coup or tried to damage the BBC. That’s all I am requesting. How would I know? One way, as I have suggested, is to request the BBC board minutes relating to all discussions connected to current crisis and all board minutes from

Ok Robert Peston if she has knowledge Gibb needs to be removed from acting improperly why doesn’t she give us the facts and details, not blame the charter or imply etc? Every single second we don’t know the facts this gets worse for the BBC.

This is very silly by Number 10 and not wise of Wes Streeting either (and sorry is everyone staging coups in the UK at the moment - a supposed coup to down the BBC and now the PM? Does everyone including journalists need to take a chill pill?)

Austin, Texas 🙌 Just saw my first driverless Waymo shoot past me, no one at the wheel, it is freaky when you first see it. Not so much that it’s driverless but that the driver’s seat and steering wheel remain but no driver… Desperate to get a ride in one.
