We are lucky to all be part of such a great team! Here’s to the future.

Arrived in Milan for the 7th International Symposium on Peripheral Nerve Regeneration (ISPNR)! Tomorrow I will be presenting some work from a side project I have worked on alongside my PhD on nerve tissue engineering 👩🏼🔬 James Phillips UCL Nerve Eng UCL School of Pharmacy

Inspiring week in Milan for the 7th ISPNR with great representation from UCL School of Pharmacy and UCL Nerve Eng with a best presentation win from Poppy O. Smith well done team 👏 Emily Atkinson Alaa Alhamdi LIU Tianyang James Phillips

Really happy to share that I have been appointed as a Maplethorpe Research Fellow at @UCL UCL School of Pharmacy, developing peptide therapeutics for regenerative medicine using computational tools. Huge thanks to Professor Shozeb Haider for hosting me in his lab.

Our paper on automated production of nerve repair constructs as part of my LIDo with James Phillips is now online. It was great to collaborate with Showan Nazhat's team at McGill University for this one! doi.org/10.1088/1758-5…

Our new Centre for Doctoral Training in Accelerated Medicines Design & Development is now open for applications! Up to 13 fully funded students are available UCL School of Pharmacy and UoNPharmacy, to start in October 2025. More details here: amdd-cdt.uk

New paper from Poppy O. Smith reports the production of #EngineeredNeuralTissue using a new automated manufacturing approach. This tissue engineering technology was used to make nerve repair constructs containing stable aligned endothelial cell structures. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…

It was a pleasure to present my current research and career progression at #NUCARS2025, as a Newcastle Chemistry alumni! The research presented at the conference was outstanding and it was great to catch up with everyone. Huge thank you to the organising committee for inviting me.

Congratulations Prof Prof Zoë Waller 🎉 what an incredible and timely achievement all while hosting #PAWeek25 at UCL! You truly do it ALL!

PharmAlliace week 2025 complete! Thank you to all the team for everything with planning, all the chairs, speakers, panellists, award winners and participants! Handing over the baton to Monash for next year #PAWeek25 UCL School of Pharmacy UCL Faculty of Life Sciences
