Today I attended the UCL School of Pharmacy Research Away Day, with a focus on how we can have impact beyond academia. I delivered a short presentation on the impact we have on people living with nerve injuries and won best poster prize!

Really happy to share that I have been appointed as a Maplethorpe Research Fellow at @UCL UCL School of Pharmacy, developing peptide therapeutics for regenerative medicine using computational tools. Huge thanks to Professor Shozeb Haider for hosting me in his lab.

New paper from Poppy O. Smith reports the production of #EngineeredNeuralTissue using a new automated manufacturing approach. This tissue engineering technology was used to make nerve repair constructs containing stable aligned endothelial cell structures. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…
