Stephen Sackur BBC HARDtalk Why close Hardtalk? It can’t be v expensive telly. It is respected around the world. Stephen Sackur has been a brilliant presenter. It is one of the BBC’s global brands. Puzzled.

Stephen Sackur BBC HARDtalk Gobsmacked. As a regular listener/viewer, I just don't get it. There are many other shows - even ones I love - that should be shoved before this. HARDtalk should be the show that turns the lights off if the BBC - not just news - ever closes. Last one out. It is that important.


Color me shocked that BBC News has cancelled the only show left that has name recognition around the world, BBC HARDtalk - so much so that even as a now ex BBC journalist building a startup, I’ve had CEOs pull out of interviews for fear of getting “the HardTalk” treatment 😂 One
