Numbers taking English A-levels in 2024 rose by more than 5% + numbers taking the A-level in Eng. Lit. grew by a v. significant 8%.Overall numbers of A-levels awarded only rose by 2.5% meaning English is becoming an increasingly popular choice relative to other subjects.  3/5
