To further improve the tooling story of #fsharp, a Tree-sitter grammar would help a lot. So in the next #AmplifyingFSharp session we'll hear from no other than Vlæd Zá 🤡 from the compiler team what can be done about it. amplifyingfsharp.io/sessions/2024/…

Or you can use Ionide , VSCode and #fsharp which benefits from the .NET ecosystem too (roughly speaking). With #fsharp one gets access to huge amount of options: web, server, desktop, etc. Still, you might sponsor Ionide, but you can start as with TS and Java.

Here’s the thing folks. I’ve been coding 32 years. When something like this happens it’s an organizational failure. Yes, some human wrote a bad line. Someone can “git blame” and point to a human and it’s awful. But it’s the testing, the Cl/CD, the A/B testing, the metered

Yes! Try #fsharp which is a modern #dotnet #ocaml extended variant, interop very well with #csharp which can be easily migrated bit by bit, reusing the same libraries in #nuget , for example 🦔💜🐉

After taking a step away, I feel like version 5 is in a great place. The right balance of involvement and replacement. And now, I'd love your feedback. So it's time for alpha1! Nuget: nuget.org/packages/Falco Migration doc: github.com/pimbrouwers/Fa… New hello world below:

Yes! Beautiful, succinct and performant code, as functional as you want it to be, with the full power of #dotnet available. I ♥️ #fsharp 🦔.

Love this thread. My team built event-sourcing completely from scratch in the last project, and it wasn't even that hard or complex. Truth be told, I looked at some libraries and special dbs, but didn't get them at all.
