Whilst the rest of us have been enjoying a well earned festive break, Hayden S (Y9) has been competing against some of the best South African swimmers in Pietermaritzburg 🇿🇦

He enjoyed extensive success including a 53.28 in the 100m freestyle placing him as the second fastest ever U13 in British swimming history. In addition to this he clocked 30.54 and 27.38 in breaststroke and backstroke 50m respectively. Well done Hayden 🥇

Aquatics Update: Last night the Swim Team enjoying a relay gala win Vs Eltham Hill and St. Dunstan’s. Excellent performances from all of those whom competed! Thanks to all those that came to show your support. #ECSwimTeam

Aquatics Update: Last night our mixed U14s competed in the London League where they won 3 out of 3 matches. 3-1 W Vs Alleyns 5-0 W Vs Colfes 5-4 W Vs Dulwich College Congratulations to all those involved a fantastic way to start the league. #ECWaterPolo

WATERPOLO RESULT: U15 Girls competed in the ESSA National Qualifiers, unfortunately we lost to both JAGS & Croydon High narrowly. But finished with a 9-0 win vs Queen Elizabeth’s. Lots of positives to take away but also lots to work on for this team who will be back next year!

Well done to both Leo and Hayden in the National Arena League Final today! Hayden won the top performing 13/14 year old male category and both were apart of 2 winning teams. Best team in the country! #ECSwimTeam

Well Done to our Men’s and Women’s National Bath Cup Teams today. Racing the the Freestyle and Medley Relays. The Men came 24th and 18th whilst the Women’s team came 13th and finished 4th in the Medley final, just 0.48 off of a medal! Congrats to all those involved! #ECSwimTeam

National Bath Cup Results: Boys 4 x 100 Freestyle Team and 4 x 50 Medley Team came 24th and 18th. Hayden, Leo, Ed & Jasper. Girls 4 x 50 Freestyle Team came 13th. The 4 x 50 Medley Team finished in 4th agonisingly 0.48 away from 3rd. Jessica, Veronique, Ava, Anyka and Isabelle.

Swimming Update: To support our 4 National Finalists, with the help of the ELSC team, we've been able to provide those pupils with additional training hours outside of school term time - a huge benefit to performance swimmers, something we have added to our Programme recently.
