Department social events are crazy. You are drinking cocktails and having fun conversations with your walking deadlines (my professors 🩷) and trying to not to go that direction and that first word you are saying somehow related to that email you need to send 🥲

Recently l learned that my father told our relatives I will become a medical doctor, currently I am doing my ‘doctorate’ in the US :) even my undergrad was in business :)

I am living in another continent, thinking rent and bills, cooking all my meals, doing laundry and even my taxes all by myself (the first time in my life) while continuously thinking about my summer paper and research going on. Still not adulting? Come on.

It will be again February 29, 4 years later today. I can’t imagine how much l will be excited to present my own paper one day if l am excited this much to present someone’s paper in my corporate finance theory class tomorrow :)
