So much fun with artists and painters last night.

During World Press Freedom week, Nigeria has kindly freed two journalists - freed one from having to house himself by giving him free and indefinite accommodation in jail, and freed a second one from being ignorant about how a gunshot feels. Kudos and doxology!

Had a burst of inspiration and added a couple thousand words to the new novel I am working on. The novel is changing in ways I could never have anticipated and it is both exciting and scary. I hope someone at the gates will feel the same way I feel about this book.

Amnesty International is deeply concerned by the arrest of Daniel Ojukwu — a journalist with the Foundation for Investigative Journalism. The Nigeria Police Nigeria Police Force must immediately release Daniel Ojukwu and end this relentless attack on freedom of the press.

Last night we had not one but two lovely nude models, so it was even more difficult for me to sketch. Usually I am slow and the artists are so fast! I need to practice more during the week before I go there. Butts are the easiest, hands the hardest, breasts, in between.

Every time I come someone asks if I want to pose nude for the artists. Photos yes. But sitting for two hours with a flaccid penis? Kai 🤣🤣🤣.

People can find whatever they want beautiful. But you can’t be right or wrong about another person’s body. If they feel good then good for them.

Fascinating how many compliments from strangers I get about my body when I lose weight. On one hand it is flattering but on the other it makes you wonder how much our eyes are trained to see thinner and more muscular as more beautiful. Thankfully I also feel great about my body.

Nigerian law is difficult to study. Especially when studying case law (especially from the court of appeal) you can see clearly why I like to say one of the sources of Nigerian law is corruption. Contradictory judgements. Turning the law on its head. Wild, unhinged rulings.

Look I am in Germany so I will definitely not be the worst dancer there. Also I will be wearing heels which makes dancing so much more elegant for those of us who aren’t naturally gifted dancers.

Going to a dance party for over 30 people this weekend just like Jesus intended. Knowing I won’t have the worst knees there makes me excited. Also yesterday someone thought I was 35 so I think I am in good shape for this activity. Pray for me.
