Amazing end to day 10 in Spain with one of my favourite birds of the trip so far, this Little Owl, and some more Thekla's Larks !

What a morning ! Went to La Cinta, Andalucia, Spain, this morning and ended up with 3 lifers, including this European Roller beside the road and some Red-Legged Partridge & Little Ringed Plovers too !

Here's some more from this morning at La Cinta, Andalucia Spain. One of 3 Little Owls, the first Eurasian Hoopoe of the trip, an Iberian Grey Shrike and a Woodchat Shrike.

It's amazing what you can see here in Cantoria, Spain, just on the side of the road. Got my best views of European Bee-Eaters and saw 3 Eurasian Hoopoe, 2 Woodchat Shrike, and a very random Black-Winged Stilt !

Great final day of the trip in Cantoria, Spain. After hearing so many without seeing one, I finally got a Eurasian Golden Oriole on camera ! Other highlights were 2 Golden Eagles, a (Lifer) Western Olivaceous Warbler, and some more European Bee-Eaters!

A sunny morning in Fenit today featured a Chough, a young Sandwich Tern, a Common Tern and a Cormorant.

What a day ! 2 hen harriers in 2 different locations. One in Blennerville, Tralee, and one in Akeragh, Ballyheigue !

Picked out this Spotted Redshank amongst the flock of Common Redshank 200m west of the windmill in Blennerville this afternoon.

A great afternoon in Blennerville featured this super Mediterranean Gull, a smart looking Sandwich Tern, this Black-Tailed Godwit in lovely plumage and plenty of Northern Lapwing !

A nice afternoon out birding at Killarney National Park included 5 Spotted Flycatcher, this Dipper, 5 Gadwall at Ross Castle, and on the way home, this distant Kingfisher at Ballyfinnane Bridge.

One of the Spotted Redshanks from Blennerville was present again this afternoon.

A nice evening in Blennerville featured 2 Kingfishers, one of the Spotted Redshanks, these 2 Sandwich Terns and a Whimbrel.

2 Mediterranean Gulls, a Kingfisher and a flock of Knot from Blennerville earlier today.

Had this awesome Adult Ring-Billed Gull and 2 Mediterranean Gulls at Cockleshell earlier today.

5 Juvenile Curlew Sandpipers still present at Blennerville this evening.

3 Curlew Sandpipers, 1 Kingfisher 2 Mediterranean Gulls, and 1 Sparrowhawk from Blennerville this evening.

The highlights from this morning at Cork Lough were this Yellow-Legged Gull, my first time seeing one in Ireland, 5 Shovelers, 10 Tufted Ducks, and a Little Grebe.
