AMDA - the group that ran the Land Forces weapons expo - is a registered charity! It’s outrageous that a company profiting from violence and war is enjoying charity tax concessions. The Greens are calling for AMDA’s charity status to be revoked.

Today the Greens will put Labor on notice. They’ve got 2 months before their weak housing bill comes back to Parl. Negotiate. Freeze rent increases. Axe the billions of $$ in tax handouts to people with 7, 8, 25, 200 investment properties.

A message for Labor: You have 2 months to negotiate with the Greens on a housing plan that will actually help the millions of ppl doing it tough. You tried to force a vote to defeat your own broken bill & failed. Work with the Greens to cap rents & scrap neg gearing.

The housing crisis is breaking people. But instead of taking meaningful action, Labor are trying to mislead the public about votes in the Senate and threatening to take the country to the polls. I thought the adults were in charge.

Millions of renters need help now. Rent caps. Phasing out the $176 billion in tax handouts to property investors. A mass build of public housing. Labor could work with the Greens to do all that. Instead? Labor offers nothing but a bill that will drive up house prices.

Our concerns on this Canadian-owned mine expansion: • Harm to Sugarloaf Nature Conservation Reserve & Wellsford Forest • Offsetting Grey Box Grassy Woodland is an unfair burden on public land • Risk of toxic breaches into important river systems theguardian.com/australia-news…

I got sick of armchair experts telling me that protesting doesn't achieve anything, so I documented a bunch of recent Brisbane examples where activism got the goods. Enjoy! jonathansri.com/activismworks/

The Premier owes us an explanation. This plan will displace more than ten thousand public housing residents in the middle of a housing crisis, yet they’re steamrolling ahead without providing a shred of evidence to back it up. Where we see communities, they see dollar signs.

The housing crisis is pushing people to the brink, & Labor's two housing bills will make the crisis worse. The Greens are putting Labor on notice: we need solutions, not band aid responses. Renters and first home buyers in Wills and across the country deserve better.

Every obscenity from Israel is met with a mild tut-tut from Labor and more F35 fighter jet parts. Instead of meekly excusing their latest horror Labor should sanction Israel's leaders, stop the two-way arms trade and actually stand up for the people of Palestine.

It’s not just wrong for Australia to buy Israeli goods made in the occupied Palestinian Territories - experts are telling us it is unlawful and that it’s up to the Govt to enforce this or face pariah status. The ruling from the highest judicial body is clear and we must act.

How gutless. The Anthony Albanese gov abstains rather than support a resolution reinforcing the ICJ finding that Israel’s occupation of the West Bank “is unlawful” & that “all States are under an obligation not to recognize” it. We are out of step with our region! Both New Zealand &

These two things are true: 1. Storing carbon in old wells & pipes in the ocean has been a colossal failure around the world 2. The Vic Labor Gov't has said fossil fuel giant ESSO can begin carbon capture & storage in Vic oceans without doing an environmental assessment (EES)

Warfare is evil. People in Lebanon are terrorised. Living in fear of another explosion, anytime, anywhere. Does the Premier still stand by Labor's Memorandum of Understanding with the Israeli Defence Ministry?
