Pelicans in West Michigan?? Austin got quite the view in Gun Lake this morning, spotting five American White Pelicans floating in the water! Turns out, they're quite migratory and have increasingly been known to spend time in the Great Lakes for food & breeding.

This was West Michigan's third-coolest Memorial Day in 20 years, if you can believe it. Considering the sunshine & light breeze, I'd venture to say it was still nice enough. ☀️
