New paper led by Chika Tada (her 1st! 👏). She barbecued seeds stored in canopy cones, to see how different combinations of hot, cool, and/or long fire affected their survival. We found these seeds are very tolerant to fire but not to hot + long fire. fireecology.springeropen.com/articles/10.11…
