Anyone else on here take oramorph? I take tapentadol slow release and oramorph as a top up but I really hate the side effects of the morphine so don’t take it as much as I’m supposed to be. Any alternative suggestions welcome!

You “support disabled people” until a disabled person’s accommodations are a tiny bit inconvenient for you. Then, it’s too much effort to be accessible. You don’t support disabled people.

Most able bodied people aren’t afraid of becoming disabled because they believe the system will support them. That doctors will work night and day to figure out what’s wrong when they’ll most likely tell you it’s just anxiety.

How it goes at my GP - you can’t get an appointment in advance - you have to call at 8am on the day and it is busy - by the time you get through all appts have gone - you are told to call back - your situation worsens; call back result is the same each day - you end up at A&E 🤷‍♀️

I don't think many people understand what being disabled & not working actually means... We are not just sitting at home all day doing things we enjoy... We are not working because we are disabled, and we are not well. Most of our lives is dedicated to our health issues.
