Today HSEMA’s interns visited the U.S. Capitol and got an inside look at the House Operations Center with Joe Lowry. They learned how the various emergency management teams responsible for the Capitol work together to protect Congress, staff, visitors, and democracy.

Last night I got to moderate my first panel! It was a great experience getting to speak with such experienced and kind women in the homeland security enterprise, and I know the audience walked away with some great insights.

I’ve officially turned in all my assignments. In 5 days I’ll be graduating with my M.S. in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy!
