For those who are looking ahead to 2026, the fact that we swept every bellwether county in the country’s biggest swing state is the biggest takeaway and should have the GOP extremely nervous.

According to VoteHub, Abigail Spanberger won VA-01 and VA-02, two congressional districts currently held by Republicans. As is, the results could serve as a warning sign to Rep. Rob Wittman and Congresswoman Jen Kiggans. Plus, the results could be even more troubling considering redistricting.
