Having participated in a productive European Shooting Confederation Technical Meeting in Strasbourg, I am now having a less than productive 24hrs stuck in Frankfurt due to cancelled flights as a result of Storm Ciara.

Sat on a plane waiting to depart from Frankfurt. I am one of the lucky ones as more flights have been cancelled & we had 27 people on a waiting list at the boarding gate. All I need now is a smooth take off & a soft landing as we've been told the wind is still strong over Europe

My first run after several months of nursing my foot. I planned to run 5km which I managed albeit at a slower pace. Even though my legs are really aching now, it feels rather good to be back at it...and my foot held out too 😊 #keepfit

I was sruggling with motivation to go for a run today as it was wet outside. In the end I forced myself to do it. Surprisingly #running was pretty easy so I pushed to the 6km mark, and I actually enjoyed it. Slower pace must've had something to do with it 🤣

About to take off to Wroclaw for an ESC Presidium Meeting tomorrow where 10m European Championships are currently taking place.

I attended the ESC Presidium meeting where I reported on my activities over the last few months. Fortunately I didn't send any of them to sleep 😂

I, of course, made time for #geocaching both before and after the meeting, finding a total of 6 different cache types. I even managed to squeeze in a brief appearance at a geocaching event before going to the official dinner....

Livetrack didn't work today, not that it affected my run. My first decent run since I started back, as I managed to get below 6 min per km and it felt pretty good too. #running #keepfit

I enjoyed my run this evening and I even managed to stretch it to 8km, although the last 2km were hard going, as my thigh is a little tender following a fall while out geocaching yesterday. #running #keep
