🔴IMCO Committee Press delegation to 🇩🇰 & 🇸🇪, led by Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, met 🇩🇰 Danish minister Caroline Stage today, to speak about implementation of DSA, protection of minors online & digital priorities for the 🇩🇰 Danish Presidency.

MEPs also discussed consumer rights and unfair commercial practices with 🇩🇰 Danish Consumer Ombudsman ➕ e-commerce, public procurement & single market barriers with 🇩🇰 Danish Chamber of Commerce.

Day 2 of IMCO Committee Press mission to 🇩🇰 & 🇸🇪. The delegation led by Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz first met the 🇩🇰 Danish State & Municipal Procurement Service (SKI) to talk about EU procurement in practice & its importance for sustainability, innovation & competitiveness.

MEPs then looked into digitalisation, e-commerce & product traceability for a data-driven Single Market with 🇩🇰 Business & Safety Tech Authorities.

Lastly, MEPs discussed digital tools & ‘buying European’ with 🇩🇰 Danish Industry (DI), before travelling to Gothenburg, Sweden 🇸🇪.

Final day of IMCO Committee Press mission to 🇩🇰& 🇸🇪 started with a visit to 🇸🇪 Volvo Trucks Tuve 🚛 to exchange on challenges & opportunities for the 🇪🇺 EU manufacturing, competitiveness & innovation.

At the 🇸🇪 Port of Gothenburg, MEPs then discussed customs rules 🛃, product safety checks & using digitalisation to strengthen monitoring, efficiency and trade flows across the Single Market.

Finally, the delegation met 🇸🇪 Gothenburg City Council & Lindholmen Science Park, to discuss digital twins & citiverse projects (linking business, universities & civil society) ➕ their use of AI to build inclusive, accessible cities and drive the future Digital Single Market.
