During November, we will publish a post for each of the 10 PhD positions in the frame of the TRAMPOLINe- project ISMET. Each doctoral candidate will be mentored by two expert researchers from different research groups and a secondment in each location will be guaranteed

Help us spread the word! Eligibility criteria: 1) candidates must not have resided in the PhD research country for more than 12 months in the 36 months preceding the deadline for the call and 2) you should be able to enter a PhD programme on September 2025

Congrats to our colleague Paniz Izadi on her plenary lecture at the 1st #MIBITECH Day at UFZ! Her presentation captivated the crowd with insights into bio|electrochemical CO₂ conversion to create high-value products, including, of course, a focus on the VIVALDI project! 👏

DC 4: Development of universal electrified biotrickling filters for the treatment of liquid and gaseous wastes on the example of sulfur species. This DC will carry out research under the supervision of @UFZ_Electric (UFZ ) and Annemiek Ter Heijne (Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation)

DC10: Modelling-based improvement of an upscaled prototype reactor for bioelectrochemical hydrogen production. This DC will carry out research at GENOCOV Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona under the supervision of albert guisasola and Benjamin Korth from @UFZ_Electric at UFZ (Germany).
