A quick gist of tonight's #exeter #thunderstorm action. Quiet but close, fairly frequent sheet lightning, likely a lot of C-C but obscured by a layer of low cloud. Absolutely torrential rain. Roads flooded.

#exeter just got slammed again by another October #thunderstorm, easily topping the one 3 days ago. Even LOUDER, and BRIGHTER. Stay tuned on my Youtube channel youtube.com/c/ElectricSkyUK for full footage (need time to edit).

Quick snippet of the #exeter #thunderstorm tonight (23rd Oct 3am). Will upload polished video to youtube.com/c/ElectricSkyUK when done. #devon has done very well this year for #lightning.

Nice animation here. You can clearly imagine the upper trough ploughing through all of the high thermal air as it ripped northeastwards.... quite a unique recipe for widespread severe storms regardless of time of year.

Small snippet of today's monster #thunderstorm #Exeter #Devon. CGs galore, featuring HD 96KHz audio, and 5-10mm #hail. Subscribe to my channel youtube.com/@ElectricSkyUK to catch the full video in the coming weeks (I won't have time to edit it this week).

Today we chased a monster linear MCS squall line from birth to near-death as it fired in west #London and steamrolled all the way to the west country. Bearly kept up with it. Co chasing 420 miles with UK WEATHER CHASE great teamwork. Check out footage coming SOON. #thunderstorm

#exeter #flooding during a localised #thunderstorm at 1315L 17th Sept 2023. Lots of reports of flooding and leaking roofs across Exeter.

Monster Mt #Ruang eruption today, and this video preceded it with an apparently 2km high lava fountain and constant #volcanic #lightning. Nature's fury.

And the #lightning just keeps on coming from #stormherminia. Loud low-topped winter squall hits #exeter at 5am, with hail in my face. Video of best bits... fb.watch/xmUKou0BuR/ via facebookwatch
