I attended the launch of the NIH-funded ÉMERGENTS ICEMR 5-year Program in Nigeria. This project is a partnership between University of Florida (Rhoel Dinglasan ), CRID-Cam and @acegid ( Christian T. Happi ) . ÉMERGENTS aims at boosting malaria control in West/Central Africa.

CRID awarded $5.5m from Gates Foundation. The Africa Centre for Vector Genomic (AVecGen) project will be implemented in collaboration with LSTM and MalariaGEN. It aims to support #CRID in building whole genome sequencing and analysis capacity for disease vectors.
On December 13th, Nouage Lynda (Lynda Nouage) , a #student from Faculté Des Sciences de l'Université de Yaoundé 1 defended her doctoral #thesis. Her #research was supervised by Prof Charles Wondji from #LSTM and Prof KEKEUNOU Sevilor from #UYI. After examination and validation, the candidate received the highest #distinction.
Today, we welcomed Prof. L.A. Tchuem Tchuenté , a distinguished Professor of Parasitology at the Université de Yaoundé 1/The University of Yaoundé1 ( UYI).
