Incredible news: Approval for the largest #CoalMine expansion in NSW has been overturned, after a community environment group successfully argued the impact of the project's greenhouse gas emissions was not considered by the planning commission!

From The Guardian: "The court found the commission was required and failed to consider the impacts of all emissions on the local environment, including from the exported emissions – known as scope 3 emissions – when the coal is sold and burnt overseas."
