Readers don’t just read & THAT’S IT 🚫in fact, AVID READERS read & ANNOTATE the text for a deeper understanding! 5th graders practiced “tabbing” their narrative texts when identifying narrative text techniques, they even justified their conclusions w/ their tool🔍 GullattES
