Defiant L’s Pit bulls and toddlers do not mix. If you own one, muzzle it, leash it, insure it, and if it hurts a kid, that dog is done and the owner should be on the hook, criminally and financially.

The fact that no one killed that dog is the problem. Dogs are NOT the same value as humans a dog that attacks a child for no reason should be shot on sight. The owner should be in jail for walking that dog with no muzzle.
