Didn’t expect to find a Woodcock outside the RVI this morning... Looked like it had flown into a window, so found a box for it to sit in until it was collected and taken to Blyth Wildlife Rescue. Fingers crossed it makes a full recovery! #TwitterNatureCommunity

I found my garden owl in a tree all fluffed up against the cold. The female then called and he flew over to greet her. They then both bowed down putting the top of their heads against each other and stayed like that for 8 - 10 seconds. perhaps a way of showing affection.
