Delighted to be back in #NewcastleWest to launch the Éigse Michael Hartnett tonight. Lovely evening of poetry and music and great company. Congrats to Vicki and Norma and all of the rest of the volunteers and our own staff at Limerick Council - Comhairle Luimnigh. Special congratulations to poet Tara Bergin

Attended the launch of Michael Dooley's debut 'In Spring We Turned To Water' at Eigse Michael Hartnett last night. His reading was quietly powerful, with vivid imagery & deep emotion. @Doirepress @mld_lk

It's hard to believe it's already been a week since this year's Éigse! Thank you to everyone who supported the festival, all of our guests and audiences, the venues, and funders for helping us create a wonderful 25th edition of Éigse Michael Hartnett 🩵

All here at Éigse are saddened at the passing of Padraig O Snodaigh. Husband of the late Clìodhna Cussen, father of Rónán, Rossa and Colm who entertained us all at Éigse 24. Padraig was the driving force behind Coiscéim, poet and former winner of the Hartnett Poetry Award.
