2024 Edna Tennis camp is a wrap! (JH and HS got rained out today, but we’ll make it up in July). These kids learned a LOT, were so sweet, coachable, and respectful, and the future of the program is bright! ☀️ HUGE thx to coach Moralez for hosting this, and investing in kids! 🤠🎾

Averaged 71 girls this week! They are working their tails off, and big gains are happening, both physically AND mentally! Athletes of the week are K. Laredo (hs) and A. Hines (jh)… Keep it up, girls, we’ll see you Monday morning! Continue to BRING THE ENERGY! ⚡️🤠💪

We got started on week 5 today (late start, due to Beryl)! Week 4 athletes of the week were K. Singer (hs) and L. Estrello (jh). Keep showing up and working hard, Cowgirls! Numbers were a bit down today, so let’s get em back up tomorrow! Less than 4 weeks… CRUNCH TIME! 🤠💙💪

Wk 5 is a wrap! This wk was cut short, but the girls worked hard! Aths of the wk are R Woods (jh) and E Shoemate (hs)! GREAT turnout for comm cleanup today, got about 10 min in b4 the sky opened up… after 2 hours, we gave up and sent them home ☔️☹️ Back at it Monday! 🤠💙

Week 6️⃣ is down, 1️⃣ to go! #s back up this week, avg in the 50s, and these girls have been killing it! Between weights, conditioning, and vb, they’re getting some great, QUALITY work in! Ath of the wk are M Robinson (hs) and K Rodas (jh). Keep it up, Cowgirls, the end is near!

2024 summer s&c is over.. Rain ended our pool plan, so plan b was 9 square and pickleball! These girls competed all summer, many coming 75%+ of the time! The payoff is coming!!! Aths of the wk are A Medrano and M Holmes for hs, and K Nessel and B Duarte for jh! 🤠💪💙

Cowgirl volleyball couldn’t wait to get rolling at the earliest time possible! These girls showed up with LOADS of energy, enthusiasm, and excitement at midnight, and it kicked our season off with a bang! Keep up the hard work, Cowgirls… see ya at the next session! 🤠🏐💙

We had 32 hs and jh girl athletes that showed TREMENDOUS commitment by successfully completing at least 75% of our summer workouts (came at least 21 times out of 28, most of them coming a lot more!). Our theme this summer was Bring The Energy ⚡️- they def brought it! ⚡️🤠💙

So proud of all of our jr high volleyball girls… Each team saw MAJOR improvement over the season! Lots of committed, reliable, disciplined future Cowgirls coming up in the program! 7th A (16-0, 7-0) and 8th A (15-1, 7-0) ended the season last night as district champs!

Averaged 79 girls this week at the first week of 2025 summer workouts (37 high school, 42 jr high)! These girls are getting after it in the weight room, the outside conditioning, and the sport specific sessions! Enjoy your weekend, and we’ll see ya on Monday for week 2! 🤠

Ten years ago Edna ISD had a tragedy and Ingram ISD stepped up and helped out. So it is our turn now. For the last 3 years Coachdemasco & I have become real good friends while competing against each other. He is one of the goods ones in this business & truly cares about kids.
