As the 15th Rotation of #MNBGLTU prepares to hand over their responsibilities to their successors, we reflect on our early months in 🇱🇹. We start with the handover takeover in the last winter. #StrongerTogether

It was an honour to the #MNBGLTU to be invited to the yearly 🇱🇹 Land Forces Day and to celebrate with our #NATO-Ally. Congratulations to LLF! We are #StrongerTogether.

The 🇳🇴 SISU Pasi XA-203N is a Multi-Role Medical Platform within the #MNBGLTU. One doctor and one paramedic can medicate up to three patients. The vehicle is equipped with various essential medical tools and has got state-of-the-art mine protection.

At the end of every rotation the soldiers get their 🇱🇹 service medals. It is a honour for the soldiers of the #MNBGLTU to receive their own medal. It's the remembrance for their hard work and for staying #StrongerTogether💪

In the middle of the rotation we boosted our confidence and readiness with the first exercises together. Eager Leopard showed that we are #StrongerTogether and all of us are professionals in their business.

In the last third of the rotation the #MNBGLTU proved its operational readiness during the exercise Iron Wolf. #StrongerTogether we achieved the certification combat ready. The hard work definitely paid off.

🇱🇹 history is an important topic to the #MNBGLTU. Because of that we visit important and historic spots regularly. For example, the television tower in Vilnius and the Antakalnis Cemetery. The independence of our members makes us #Strongertogether.

Training saves lives. Our 🇧🇪 comrades of the #MNBGLTU intensified their knowledge in medical topics, practiced sewing wounds and resuscitation. Being prepared and staying #Strongertogether is the core of #NATO and #MNBGLTU.

The soldier who arrives first and leaves last in any rotation is the commander. Today 🇩🇪 Lieutenant Colonel Mike Krüger handed over the command over our #MNBGLTU to his successor 🇳🇱 Lieutenant Colonel Bas Schillemans.

To get in touch with 🇱🇹 citizens and with comrades of different Nations, the #MNBGLTU takes part in so called static displays from time to time. There they represent their material, their vehicles and have time for a talk.

Military deployments are a result of parliamentary decisions. It is necessary, that representatives of the states visit the #MNBGLTU for checking the actual situation and get informed. It is fundamental for further political decisions and the way ahead of #MNBGLTU.

One week ago, the command over the #MNBGLTU changed. For the first time in history of the deployment in Lithuania a 🇳🇱 Commander is in charge to command the Battlegroup. But that does not lead to any delay in our operability. We are #Strongertogether every time.

#Strongertogether means of course inviting distinguished visitors to the #MNBGLTU. This week the Deputy Commander of the V. U.S.-Corps in PL, Major General Jablonski visited us in 🇱🇹.

Last weekend the 🇱🇹 Military Tattoo took place in Vilnius where NATO allies of 🇱🇹 came together. The 24th of August is a special day for Lithuania, because on this day 31 years ago the the last Russian soldier left 🇱🇹.

Lieutenant General Gante, commander of the 🇩🇪 Field Army, visited our #MNBGLTU and was informed about the current operational readiness and performance. Among other topics he visited the Permanent Logistics and Support Area, an ongoing successful infrastructure project in 🇱🇹.

A static display is a good way to inform others about the work of the #MNBGLTU. Yesterday we set up a static display for 🇱🇹. While showing our equipment and vehicles we explained about the #MNBGLTU and built on a relationship that is #Strongertogether.

Today the #MNBGLTU is running the Vilnius Marathon! An unique opportunity to run side by side with the people of #Lithuania and show our deep connection. Great city, great ambiance, great event. We run this together!

Today the 🇳🇴 Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide, visited our #MNBGLTU. He had an office-talk with the commander of the battlegroup and visited the 🇳🇴 soldiers at the barracks.

Yesterday, the Minister of Defence from the 🇳🇱, Ruben Brekelmans Ruben Brekelmans, visited our #MNBGLTU. He received a briefing from our commander, who is in fact the first ever 🇳🇱 Commander of the BG. He also visited the soldiers and exchanged ideas.
