Reconfiguring AllCoreDevs To deliver on Ethereum's ambitious L1 roadmap, we should decouple planning and execution. To that end, I'm proposing we reorient ACD to focus on scoping future forks, and elevate our existing testing calls as the main venue for the current ones. 🧵👇

Dev Tools make the onchain world possible. Optimism Retro Funding rewards them across Ethereum and the Superchain based on how much usage they receive. Get to know the latest recipients of Retro Funding… and maybe discover your new favorite dev tool. ↓

A lot is in flux these days within the EF (which is a good thing! 🤩) and one thing questioned is if there is still the need for a JavaScript VM. So if you rely on the JS VM, plan to use or have other thoughts, NOW is the time to talk/reply about it. (Might be your last chance)

Former EF JavaScript Team Having a JS VM implementation is great for the huge amount of JS developers! Has helped me incoming into the space and understanding how the EVM works

Hi JavaScript Community, along with EF Protocol reorg blog.ethereum.org/2025/06/02/ann… the JS team has been dissolved. This DOES NOT mean that EthereumJS will automatically be discontinued though. There will be some deprecations though, already decided: Client. Ethash. Devp2p.

Following up on this we deprecate EthereumJS Client today. github.com/ethereumjs/eth… If you want to take it over, please reach out. It will give you back a lot of joy, fun and purpose. 😊 There are a lot of potential paths this could evolve (hint: it's not mainnet sync! 😂)

Continued EthereumJS deprecations on some side libraries today: - devp2p (↓ importance devp2p + Client deprecation) - ethash (what is ethash anyway? 😂) - verkle (new stateless research direction) - wallet (good alternatives (Ethers))

Former EF JavaScript Team I've found Github dependency graph to be much more useful than npm downloads. Crawling it and sorting by stars/forks/lastupdate also helps. github.com/ethereumjs/eth…
