Mr McClement's Year 11 Government and Politics class recently had a tour around Stormont and met with South Belfast MLA Kate Nicholl and new assembly speaker Edwin Poots for a Q&A session.

Today the Speaker welcomed US Ambassador Jane Hartley Ambassador Jane Hartley to Parliament Buildings. The Ambassador met with MLAs and joined members of the Northern Ireland Youth Assembly at an event in the Long Gallery.

Many thanks to Yr 11 Govt and Politics class for joining us today. Students examined the role of the Assembly & expertly questioned Kate Nicholl Edwin Poots Thanks to Mr McClements (teacher) for booking the session.

Air ambulance are currently attending a two car collision on the Milltown Road and traffic is being diverted through Belvoir at the entrances at Russell’s and on the Belvoir Road.

Offering a troubles pension to terrorists is a sure way Government will never have to pay it to anyone.
Genuine victims rightly do not accept that those who perpetrated violence can be categorised as victims .
The pension needs to be released now to genuine victims.
