I don't think this is widely known, but people in VA observe that data centers actually change local weather patterns. It's common to see snow fall less around the areas heavily concentrated with datacenters, probably because of all the heat they throw off.

My son melted my heart last night. He's 10 and as I was walking out of his room he asked, "Dad, can you tuck me in? I know I'm getting old...my friends parents don't tuck them in..." I told him that I will tuck him in anytime and gave him an extra long hug. These years go by
