Thank you for recognising that there are people who choose sincerely and quietly, without the need to perform or show off. For many, it’s simply part of who they are, their identity and their values.

This is the state of the Maldives: we defend liars, bribe-takers, and wrongdoers as long as they give us what we want. We’ve lost our sense of right and wrong—and now the wrong are rewriting it. What does that make us?

The chessmaster playing the field, quietly adding ‘termination’ to people’s CVs, by design or by poor leadership. It can be calculated or incompetent. It says everything about the master. Without proper vetting for public posts, pick, drop,n discard people like pieces on a board.

First, they create t conditions for disease, despair. Expose us all to t hazards of cancer etc. Then they build hospitals so people can die painfully while paying through their teeth for treatment that may or may not work. This they call "development"! Some believe it's progress!

This doesn’t seem to bother the public. We don’t keep questioning the right authorities or demanding answers about deals made behind closed doors. We lack consistency, so they wait us out, knowing we’ll forget, move on, and keep using their services while public money is misused.

My mom joked that it feels like government posts now come with an expiry date; people stay just long enough to ‘settle their accounts’ before being quietly replaced. Just pure coincidence, of course. Politics has never worked like a revolving repayment plan… right?😂

Considering the current mad world.. for survival sake we should end Naashigandu Diplomacy & start thinking in resilience & greater self-sufficiency. Can start by using our islands for #FoodSecurity. That will create #livelihood /#jobs for the many via productive work. #Maldives

If government tracked how many student-loan graduates are actually employed or earning, it would change everything. Student loans aren’t just about degrees—they’re about producing productive, employable citizens. Other countries track employment outcomes, skill gaps, and ROI.

We would truly fear corruption if we truly feared the Akhirah. What we consume and benefit from may seem fine now, but its consequences don’t end with this life. When accountability before Allah is real, corruption loses its appeal.

Mauman For a normal person, they can’t register a vehicle because the city is congested. But when the government wants to, they can pump in another 200 vehicles register them without garages just for the sake of “making transportation easy.” Yes, those cars would reduce income for many
