Can anyone in Ramsgate help please? Huge swift colony blocked by scaffolders. Is there a local swift group? Apparently the scaffolders don’t care and Kent Police Rural aren’t interested, even though this is an offence. Pressure needs piling on quickly - Kent Wildlife Trust can you help?

I had the camera on a tripod, pre-focused on the leafcutter bee nest hole, hoping for an in-flight shot. When waiting for her, another female bee and a Ruby-tailed Wasp also turned-up. This is a composite of 3 shots. I THINK the little bee may be Osmia leaiana? #Bees

What's the rush? You don't have to tidy too much 😉 There are so many creatures hiding in the nooks and crannies, snug inside the stems, sleeping under the petal and leaf duvet, confident they've found a safe place to survive the winter ☺️ A whole new world hides in decay!
