Almost like IMG knows what they are doing. But let’s bin that for a bloke that was fired a few years ago and a man who likes big cats.

So, Bradford Bulls, are expected to rank around 10th in the IMG ratings, which determine the teams conteseting Super League. Furthermore that places them above 3 current Super League teams. Standby for a day of complete carnage tomorrow when the full ratings are published...

Salford Red Devils are expected to be relegated, but there's a rumour going around that Huddersfield Giants are potentially going to be given the chop too. If so, and it is a very big "if" at this stage, that would open the door for York, Toulouse and London to all be promoted.

Let's put the daftness of English Rugby League in the corner for one evening now. The opening round of the Pacific Championship gets underway this weekend. i will happily send my bodyclock into Jet Lag mode for the New Zealand/Samoa game. International Rugby League is back!

mpv.tickets.com/?agency=RGLV_P… - A couple more blocks in the top tier have been opened up. Also price category alterations for the blocks behind the sticks. 9 days and a few hours to hit the 70,000 target! #RLAshes #Wembley

Ed Hocknull (@edhocknull) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Plenty of blocks completely sold out, and most of the remaining blocks in the lower bowl and middle tier have very few remaining seats. Top tier selling nicely and not impossible that more blocks will be opened up. Attendance target of 70,000 still very possible! #RLAshes

seriousaboutrl.com/bradford-bulls… - Toulouse and York have been ranked 13th and 14th. No possible actual reason now to deny the best two teams from the Championship their spots in Super League.

The 2025 IMG club gradings in full. Salford's relegation from Super League is now officially confirmed. The most bizarre ranking award goes to North Wales Crusaders - despite destroying the competition in League 1 this year, they've somehow finished bottom of the pile🤔

According to my research and happy to be corrected: AJ Brimson is set to make history — if he debuts for England, Brimson would become the first player to ever play State of Origin and then represent England in Test rugby league.

If the decision tomorrow is anything but Toulouse and York in Super League, the RFL will have to explain why they are ill-suited for promotion. Because on the face if it and by its own criteria, they are.

Stuart Glendinning (@stuglendinning) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If PVL had the choice of promoting, to Betfred Super League, three teams from a choice of York, Toulouse, Bradford and London . . . . . . who on earth believes the team he'd omit would be London? That's the guy that's close to taking NRL to a Aus$billion sport.

So, it sounds like York and Toulouse are being promoted to Super League. However, they have to forego 50% of central funding, with the other 12 teams receiving their full share. That 12 includes the other promoted side, Bradford. Convince me it's not corruption. It certainly is

Ed Hocknull (@edhocknull) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So there we go: Toulouse, York and Bradford are all coming up to the expanded Super League next year. Strangely, two of those sides promoted have been denied half their central funding share, whilst the third gets the full sum. We've not heard the last of this, have we?

Ed Hocknull (@edhocknull) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Controversy, more than a whiff of corruption at the top, and as many talking points and hyperbolic clichés you can shake a stick at. Just another week in the mad world of Rugby League. It's made me miss my old sports journalism days!

Your 2026 #SuperLeague line-up. Both French clubs back in the top flight, and with London Broncos set to lead the biggest charge for promotion from the Championship next season, will we now get the much needed investment/takeover from the #NRL?
