aki The issue with the writers is that instead of blaming the system that creates Alicent and the circumstances that pushes her to do what she did they put the blame on her instead by implying that she could always just "liberate" herself and humiliating her for not doing it earlier

Ryan really can't help himself... let's just throw even more prophecies that may or may not play well into the mix because god forbid characters have agency and motivations outside of the mythical and by extension let's turn Alys into a mere conduit

Can they like maybe develop other aspects of her character that are independant of this prophecy stuff...
